commercial concrete, as well as tilt-up specialties,
J D Construction has and continues to offer it’s

Jerry Lee Daugherty
Owner/President
With
over 35 years of experience in the construction
industry, Jerry has prided himself with a lengthy
and impressive resume.
A Carpenter by trade, Jerry’s knowledge
of the construction taught lessons. Developing
such skills as efficiency, multi-tasking, as
well as quality, Jerry was determined to succeed.
A General Contractor in Denver, Colorado for
many years, Jerry completed many projects including
several projects for the Colorado School District.
Daugherty Construction, as named in Colorado,
completed several types of projects, of which
included both complete turn key projects as
well as tenant-improvement projects.
Upon relocating to Las Vegas, Nevada, Jerry
took up the subcontracting effort with a zest
for success! In 1991, the Las Vegas, Nevada
area welcomed the introduction of J D Construction,
Inc. Focusing on concrete, J D Construction
began with projects such as mini-storage facilities
and small shopping centers.
Since then, J D Construction has grown beyond
belief. Jerry’s expertise in the contracting
field, combined with an unequalled team of employees,
has managed to earn J D Construction, Inc. a
place on the Top Ten List of Concrete Tilt-Up
Contractors. This national ward is one of which
we are extremely proud.
Based
in Henderson, Nevada, J D Construction currently
employs approximately 110 employees and completes
approximately $20,000,000.00 in contracted work
per year.
With the success of J
D Construction, Inc. in the state of
Nevada, Jerry began receiving invitations to
work outside the state.
It was upon this opportunity that Jerry decided
to offer the efficiency, quality, and innovation
that J D Construction brought to Nevada, to
neighboring states.
Jerry took the California market by storm! Today,
J D Construction as well as Daugherty Construction
is proud to offer our product in the commercial
concrete industry in five states. These states
include: Nevada, California, Arizona, Utah,
and Colorado.
Jerry has extensive experience in construction
management as well as value engineering. His
reputation precedes him when it comes to the
ability to motivate employees and complete projects
of any magnitude with unparalleled efficiency.

Aaron is the perfect example of youth that

on training, Aaron has evolved into a leader

Although his area of specialty is tilt-up construction,
Aaron has, and continues to display his ambition

A specialist in the placement, finishing, and
specialties of concrete, Antonio has offered
his services to clients of J D Construction
for over eight years. Throughout this time,
Antonio has assured the quality and finish of
concrete at each of our projects. His abilities
don’t end with just the placement and
finishing of this product.
His capabilities to offer specialized forms
of concrete enable J D Construction to provide
a wide array of different services and products
to our clients. Such products as custom colored
concrete, custom finishes, and stamped concrete
designs, set his ability apart from those who
